Final minute Młoda Legia thrash Vicenza

VIAREGGIO, Italy. Feb 05 — Vicenza Calcio's U-20 team was defeated 4-1 by Mloda Legia in their last group match in the 2010 Viareggio Cup. This is a historic first victory for the Polish team in this tournament, called the club championship for the U-20 age group.

The Italians opened the match first, but before the break the Legionista's managed to compensate through Damian Zbozien.

For much of the game the result remained tied until the 83. minute. It was then where Michal Efir gave the Legion the lead.

Three minutes later the same player for the second time entered the list of goal scorers, along with Adam Banasiak finding the net within the 90. minute to end the outcome of the meeting at 4:1 for the Legion.

"I am very pleased that with my brace. Today the whole team played very well. It is a pity that we lost a goal soon after the start of the match, but we showed character and proved that we can effectively play and score goals." says Mloda Legia's Efir.

"We start to play better after each match in the Viareggio Cup. We are very pleased with that kind of progress."

It was the third match of Mloda Legia in this years edition of the Viareggio Cup tournament. Previously, the Legionista' succumbed a 3-0 loss to Juventus FC U-20 and drew 1-1 with AS Livorno Calcio U-20.
