KRAKOW, Poland. Feb 26 — Bulgarian striker Georgi Hristov has officially signed a contract with Wisla Krakow.

The 25-year-old player has joined on loan from PFC Levski Sofia for the year with the option of a permanent buy - announced Wisla Krakow in a press release.

Hristov arrived in Krakow on Thursday to undergo medical tests. It is the result of these medical tests that confirmed his transfer to Wisla.

The Bulgarian striker officially signed with the Polish club on Friday. He has then been rapidly incorporated into the first team squad to be ready for Wisla's Saturday Ekstraklasa opener against PGE GKS Belchatow.

In the colors of Levski Sofia Hristov played 66 matches in which he scored 17 times.

In season 2006/07, under FC Maritsa Plovdiv the player became the top scorer of the second division of Bulgarian (18 goals). A year later, as a player of PFC Botev Plovdiv, he managed to end the season as top scorer of the Bulgarian Premier League (19 goals) which signaled his move to Levski.
