WARSAW, Poland. July 25 (OS) — Jacek Krzynowek has shot down the reports of him supposedly ending his career.

A few days ago there was talk around all the football media in Poland that the player had retired due to injury. It seems this is no longer the case.

"Currently I am healing my knee and I hope that I will be able to return to full fitness for football," said the former Polish international to news station Orange Sport, Jacek Krzynowek.

Therefore, the player denied any reports from the German media, which suggested that Krzynowek's sports career has ended.

"I myself was surprised by this news. Today, the situation is such I am simply still feeling the trauma of my knee. I am on holiday in Turkey and will soon try to get into full fitness." added Krzynowek.

The 34-year-old also did not rule out a possible return to the Polish Ekstraklasa.

"At the moment, I am a free agent and looking for a club. If health permits, then who knows. In the future, anything can happen and I can not rule out anything." finished the a 96-capped Polish representative.
